After dislocating my front bumper in a minor accident while backing up my car, I drove over here to get a quote to repair the damage.  They have a brand new building.  Very clean and plenty of space to park.

After pulling up in front of the main office, the manager came out, took a quick look at my car, then asked one of his guys to fix it on the spot.   No charge.  I was shocked.  Nice to see a business that realizes that it’s good to be nice to customers!

I thought the damage was serious (and was ready to pay $$$), but it only took him ten minutes to unscrew a few pieces and re-align the bumper, and re-tighten the screws.  My car looks as good as new without spending a dime.  I’m now a loyal customer of JP Auto Body.

I’ve had a lot of work done here. They do a really good job and the pricing is fair.  Matt Hayes, the owner is a pro at dealing with insurance companies.  I just faxed him the paper work and he took care of the rest. They’ll also hook you up enterprise rental car if you need a loaner.  “They’ll pick you up.”

I took my car here to have a dent fixed (it was on two panels).  I had been quoted $1200 at Acme Auto Body on Washington St, and thought that was absurd.  I was quoted $650 here at Jamaica Plain Auto Body.  They did a great work, and my car was only gone 24 hours. Good as new, but smelling extremely chemically.  Matt was the manager and he was very nice.  

I liked that they seemed to have standard pricing – because he was working on two panels, he knew the price right away was $325 each panel.

After my side mirror was clinging for it’s life, sometimes whipping in the wind and mostly banging against my door, my lovely gf took my car to jp auto. perhaps she didn’t like the quirks of a broken side mirror as much as i did? Needless to say, they were fast (15 minutes!), courteous, quick, and inexpensive ($95.00 for for the part and installation).  hopefully i won’t have to go back here again in the near future, but if you are in the area and want dependable, friendly and honest work on your car … go here. ps it’s tucked off of paul gore st. but really easy to get to. i think they are expanding because the service area was huge and very, very tidy.
